A large and beautiful turned and hollowed vase of Texas Mesquite. This is meant for prominent display in the home or office. Grain lines are shifting and gorgeous. An inlay blend of natural and synthetic turquoise is use in select voids with the most prominent being a knot that had broken out along the rim. A flared base with textured and highlighted pattern adds stability. The inside is finished with a black acrylic paint and the exterior is finished with multiple coats of penetrating oil and urethane. Occasional polishing with furniture wax is all that is needed for maintenance. Please do not store anything wet in the vessel. 16” tall, 9” wide. 5.5 lbs.
